Our Mission
Our mission is to reduce community violence by empowering and strengthening families in East Baton Rouge Parish (EBR).
About Project Safe BR
At Project Safe BR, we are dedicated to reducing community violence by empowering and strengthening families in East Baton Rouge (EBR). We believe that by providing families with the tools and knowledge they need to make healthy, informed decisions, we can build a safer and more vibrant community.
Our Vision:
We envision a safer East Baton Rouge where families are empowered, informed, and equipped to lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Our goal is to create a community where every individual feels safe, valued, and supported, and where violence is significantly reduced through proactive and preventive measures.
What We Do:
Our Impact
Since our founding, Project Safe BR has touched the lives of countless families in East Baton Rouge. Our programs and initiatives have helped reduce violence, strengthen family dynamics, and empower individuals to make positive choices for themselves and their loved ones.
Safe Circles
Safe Circle is a vital support network within Project Safe BR, designed to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for individuals, particularly youth, facing life challenges. Through peer support groups, youth-focused workshops, mentorship programs, and access to essential resources, Safe Circle empowers young people and adults alike to share their experiences, build resilience, and find the support they need. The initiative aims to strengthen community bonds, promote positive development, and ensure every member, especially the youth, feels heard, valued, and supported on their path toward healing and personal growth.
